Assistant Project Manager - 1237834

Work includes development of site plans for land development projects – conceptual; grading; drainage; etc.


Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:


• Complete understanding of Long Island Land Development for private clients for both Nassau and Suffolk Counties

• Proficient in Conceptual Planning and Grading and Drainage Design

• Experience with working on several projects at the same time

• Ability to provide direction to Staff

• Willingness to provide/assist in the training of Design Engineering Staff as needed

• Responsible for staying ahead of clients and being proactive

• Responsible for various entitlements associated with Site Development Projects

• Ability to work with a Project Manager and to delegate effectively to Design Staff

• Ability to multi-task and solve problems and to use resources when needed

• Experience/Understanding of Project Proposals and Addendums

• Experience on review plan documents prior to Project Manager Review

• Ability to stay ahead of and respond to clients in an expeditious manner

• Ability to review design plans from Design Engineering staff and provide constructive feedback as required

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or equivalent

• proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Civil3D is beneficial

• proficient in Microsoft Office

• good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills
