General: Demonstrates ability to learn and grow within profession and has the ability to contribute to production of deliverables utilizing proficiency in the basic drafting and graphic skills under close direction of Senior Staff.

Experience

1. 0-2 years
2. Professional degree in Landscape Architecture (BSLA, BLA, MLA), Architecture (BA, MA), or Planning

Reporting to

1. Project Manager, Job Captain

Skill sets

1. Demonstration of superior basic design skills including an understanding of current and
2. historical design trends and theories and is ready to apply them to professional environment
3. Willing to contribute in any way possible to support the firm’s goals and success and continue to
4. develop necessary skills to become an asset to a firm.
5. Proficient in CAD and Adobe Suite including SketchUp)
6. Demonstrates ability to produce high quality graphic/illustrative deliverables
7. Has basic understanding of components included in construction document packages

Responsibilities

1. Master an understanding of the company's office standards, protocols, and systems relative to graphic/document preparation, file management, and operational systems (time sheets, vacation requests, etc.)
2. Master use of office systems and infrastructure (on line meetings, phone systems, security systems, printers, scanners, etc.)
3. Support all staff in preparation of:

• illustrative deliverables (Adobe Suite and hand drawings)
• Construction documents (CAD drafting)
• 3D modeling program (SketchUp, Rino, or other)

4. Materials and product research

5. Misc. office assignments in support of operations

• Set up for meetings and events
• Special projects/initiatives support (marketing, recruiting, presentations, office improvements, etc.)
• Project and general office filing
