Position: Sr. Technical Service Advisor
Location: Medley, FL (Greater Miami)
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Technical Service Advisor with a strong electronics background and basic knowledge of cooling system circuits. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on field experience and extensive technical knowledge. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing technical support to customers, conducting training sessions on equipment installation and servicing, collaborating with factory engineers, and assisting HVAC contractors and customers with troubleshooting system issues.
- Utilize your in-depth understanding of Inverter Mini Split Systems to provide technical support to customers and address their inquiries effectively.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions to educate customers on equipment installation, service procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with factory engineers to understand and interpret service and installation manuals, and equipment parts breakdowns, and effectively communicate this information to HVAC technicians.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, both over the telephone and in person, ensuring clear and concise communication in fluent English.
- Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
- Utilize computer skills for documentation and written communication purposes.
- Manage a team within the department and provide guidance and support as necessary.
- Identify and offer innovative solutions when troubleshooting system problems, going beyond ordinary approaches when needed.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous hands-on field experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of Inverter Mini Split Systems.
- Extensive technical knowledge related to Inverter Mini Split Systems and their components.
- Strong understanding of electronics, with a basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles.
- Experience working with factory engineers and interpreting service and installation manuals.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and written communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Spanish language skills being advantageous.
- Experience managing people in a departmental setting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
