We are seeking a skilled and motivated Counter Manager to join our team. As a Counter Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our customer service counter, ensuring efficient order processing, exceptional customer service, and sales growth. Your expertise in HVAC products and your strong leadership skills will contribute to the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the operations of the customer service counter, ensuring smooth order processing, timely product pickups, and exceptional customer service.
- Lead and train a team of counter sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and ongoing coaching.
- Foster a customer-centric environment by delivering exceptional service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including purchasing, sales, and operations, to optimize customer satisfaction and streamline processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to provide expert assistance to customers and enhance sales opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales metrics, customer satisfaction ratings, and order accuracy, and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role within the HVAC industry, preferably in a wholesale distribution setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products, systems, and industry practices.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including inventory management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, as required.
- Familiarity with HVAC wholesale distribution processes, including order processing, product pricing, and shipping logistics, is desirable.
