  • The National Sales Manager will need to manage sales functions and outputs to ensure that all sales aspects are effectively maximized to achieve National and corporate sales objectives.
  • The National Sales Manager is experienced at creating and presenting detailed presentations to our distributors and contractors.
  • They must also be able to work well in a team environment.
  • This person is responsible for their territory numbers while keeping the corporate goals in mind. In addition, the HVAC National Sales Manager must be highly self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be resourceful and enthusiastic about sales and continued growth.
  • HVAC licensed technician a plus.
  • A major focus of this role will be on supporting and propelling the sales of our newest product within a well-established organization.
  • This product is a pert-al-pert line set and compression fitting system designed for both split system and mini-split system applications including heat pump systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving National sales budgets and goals in their assigned region.
  • Build relationships and communicate regularly with the team.
  • Responsible for seeing ongoing product training/certifications are conducted for all contractors/distributors and sales rep agency staff.
  • Visit construction job sites to communicate and/or demonstrate our products to the installers.
  • Monitor and analyze field sales reports, interpret results and take corrective action to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new targets and create an execution plan.
  • Develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial markets which are in turn pulled through the HVAC/plumbing wholesale channel.
  • Lead, direct, and manage manufacturer’s representatives in accordance with the strategies and tactics of the region.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with distributors and contractors.
  • Responsible for promotion of product at various counter days/open houses/ trade shows.
  • Assist technical service with problem identification and resolution as required.
  • Responsible for all aspects of manufacturer’s representative agencies.
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment


The Individual

  • The ideal candidate for this position must be familiar with the HVAC industry and while the manufacturing facility is in TN, the candidate is not required to move but must reside within the West Coast region.
  • This individual will need to implement sales plans to ensure achievement of agreed upon objectives and sales targets within a pre-defined region. Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC sales and management.
  • HVAC Licensed Technician is a plus.
  • Ambition to grow and take on new assignments/skills as needed.
  • Understanding of the changing marketplace and ability to adapt to change.
  • Positive sales-oriented personality Strong Team Player
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Able to manage productivity goals and quality standards.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) experience.
  • 70% domestic travel expected (local and overnight)
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • BS or BA Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communication helpful
