Experience

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Cost Engineer for major Aerospace/Manufacturing/Industrial Construction Projects (Design/Build preferred)

1.) Must be experienced in Cost & Change Management including Change Order Management & Cost Forecasting.

2.) Experienced Estimating skills for Construction Trades

3.) Reading/interpreting Construction documents including drawings, specifications and contracts.

4.) Demonstrated ability to analyze trends/variances and determine root causes

5.) Experience creating and maintaining reports for potential costs.

Degree in Engineering, Construction Mgmt, Finance, Business or Accounting

Responsibilities

Work closely with Project Design/Build team including Construction & Engineering managing Change Management, Change Order Management and Cost Forecasting.

Addressing Communication of Scope Changes, Cost and Schedule impacts on a real time basis. 

Reviewing Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical drawings with design changes and following through with the procurement of pricing from vendors/subcontractors.

Estimating & working with trade subcontractors for costing is required.
