EnviroKit Project Manager - 1719917

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee installation projects of our EnviroKit product. Supervise up to 4 crews of 4 technicians performing EnviroKit installations at various locations around the United States. Responsible for planning, resourcing, and managing the full installation cycle to ensure on-time quality installations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Competency Statement(s)

·      Problem Solving/Analysis – Identifies installation issues and develops corrective actions supported by detailed documentation and reports for EnviroKit projects.

·      Leadership & Initiative – Leads a team of installation technicians to ensure high quality, on time delivery of EnviroKit projects.

·      Technical Knowledge & Planning – Is knowledgeable in area of expertise. Strong experience in construction, plumbing and HVAC/hyrdronic installation and service. Ability to quickly identify issues, formulate responses and communicate effectively to our management and stakeholders.

·      Teamwork – Works well independently or within a team context. Ability to develop working relationships with technicians, sales staff, building management and owners.

·      Adaptability/Flexibility – Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, adjusts plans to meet changing needs.

 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES:


Education:

·      Associate degree preferred.

 

Experience:

·      Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HVAC service and installation/

·      Minimum of 5 years' experience in leadership role with direct reports.

 

Computer Skills:

·      Familiar with Microsoft Office suite products.

 

Certificates & Licenses:

·      None required.

 

 

Other Requirements:

·      Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

·      Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

·      Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.

·      Ensure resource availability and allocation.

·      Ensure compliance and training for all relevant OSHA safety standards.

·      Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

·      Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

·      Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

·      Report and escalate to management as needed.

·      Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

·      Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

·      Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

·      Ability to apply knowledge of hydronic theory and structural layout.

·      Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client groups.

·      Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

·      Ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions.

·      Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

·      Computer Proficiency with the following software: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

·      Knowledge and practice of safety while using HVAC related tools.

·      Ability to multitask in an independent manner.

·      Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

·      Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.

·      Holds a valid Driver’s License.

·      Has insured reliable vehicle (to travel to local customer sites).

·      Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

·      Successfully fulfill pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks for criminal/civil and motor vehicle records.

  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe up and down, left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)           
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
  • No special vision requirements

 

Hearing Requirements:

·      Hear in normal audio range with or without correction.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is primarily in a finished office or hotel. The candidate will occasionally have to work in an environment requiring the use of PPE equipment such as steel toed shoes/boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, cut resistant gloves, cut resistant sleeves, and bump cap.
