Operations Manager - 1764873

Lead the execution of complex construction projects exceeding $250,000 to $25 million through expert leadership and strategic execution. Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to consistently deliver results that surpass client expectations and optimize project profitability.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering a data-driven and collaborative project execution environment.
  • Master Planning: Develop and implement dynamic construction master schedules, optimizing resource allocation and project timelines to align with contractual obligations and client objectives.
  • Performance Management: Conduct monthly performance reviews with individual Project Managers, ensuring project milestones are met, budget parameters are adhered to, and potential risks are mitigated proactively.
  • Enhanced Communication: Bridge communication gaps between field personnel, suppliers, clients, subcontractors, and office staff, maintaining transparency and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cost Control Expertise: Manage project budgets with meticulous detail, employing advanced cost estimating and tracking methods to achieve and surpass established cost control targets.
  • Client Relationship Architect: Cultivate strong client relationships by actively managing expectations, addressing concerns proactively, and ensuring project deliverables consistently exceed client requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex construction projects exceeding $250,000 in value.
  • In-depth comprehension of local permit and zoning regulations, with the ability to navigate approval processes swiftly and efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced job costing software, with a strong preference for Viewpoint Vista experience.
