Piping Superintendent - 1791667

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Piping Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills, self-motivation, and effective leadership qualities with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple piping crews, ensuring optimal assignments for each job.
  • Develop and distribute weekly schedules for piping crews.
  • Drive departmental growth through proactive recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
  • Provide leadership and support to existing piping staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all piping projects.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor progress, schedule adherence, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with foremen during site walks, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Establish and track goals, milestones, and achievements for crews until job completion.
  • Exhibit expertise in Chilled Water, Heating Hot Water, Steam, and Refrigerant Piping Systems.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of various pipe materials such as steel, copper, PVC, and valves.
  • Compile comprehensive material lists and ensure timely ordering and delivery for on-site crews.
  • Foster teamwork by collaborating with Project Managers, SMF staff, startups, General Contractors, etc.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service and support to all clients.
  • Participate actively and contribute to weekly production meetings with PM’s and other superintendents.
  • Attend job site meetings upon request and provide input as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and consistency in all duties, with occasional weekend work required.
  • Work towards achieving profitability goals for the piping group.
