Job Title: Project Manager / Estimator (Insurance Reconstruction)


Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a background in insurance reconstruction. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of insurance claim processes. They will play a crucial role in overseeing and estimating reconstruction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead and manage reconstruction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee their execution.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle.


Estimating:

  • Utilize Xactimate software to prepare accurate and detailed estimates for reconstruction projects, including materials, labor, and other costs.
  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Work closely with insurance adjusters to understand and address their requirements and ensure estimates align with their expectations.
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates to clients and insurance companies, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.


Financial Management:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures closely, identifying and addressing any variances or potential cost overruns.
  • Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Prepare and submit invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation accurately and promptly.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues and ensure client satisfaction.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating, with a focus on insurance reconstruction.

Proficiency in Xactimate software and other relevant estimating tools.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Knowledge of insurance claim processes and regulations.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
