Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, and contributing to revenue growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies with the VP to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial construction, including office buildings, retail spaces, and hotels.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals and presentations to secure new business.
  • Market Expansion: Collaborate with the executive team to plan the company's growth, market expansion, and diversification strategies.
  • Industry Monitoring: Track industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand awareness and build connections.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the business development team to foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Data Analysis: Use sales metrics and customer feedback to refine strategies and drive improvements.

Background Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within South Florida and occasionally beyond.
