Job Summary: The Director of Estimating is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and optimizing the estimating function for our Oahu, Hawaii operations. This role plays a critical part in maximizing project profitability by ensuring the submission of accurate and competitive bids. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities, combined with extensive knowledge of the construction industry.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive estimating strategies and processes to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Oversee all pre-construction estimating activities, including bid preparation, cost analysis, and risk management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of estimators, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
• Partner with project management, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to support competitive bidding.
• Conduct detailed bid analysis and post-project evaluations to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.

Background Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
