We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Mechanic to support commercial and industrial HVAC installations throughout the Long Island area. In this role, you'll work independently or with a team to install HVAC systems, layout ductwork, and ensure high-quality, code-compliant workmanship. Ideal candidates will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to jobsite safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Independently install HVAC systems and ductwork
• Lay out and install roof curbs and fabricate duct fittings
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Generate material lists based on job specs
• Coordinate with other trades and project supervisors
• Complete paperwork and record material usage
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance at all times

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• OSHA 10 certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Familiarity with local/state mechanical codes
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
