Job Overview:

As a Fire Sprinkler Detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for fire sprinkler systems. You will work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that fire sprinkler systems are designed to code and installed properly. You will use your technical expertise and knowledge of fire codes and regulations to create accurate and detailed drawings that meet the needs of the project and the client.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant information to determine the scope and requirements for fire sprinkler systems.

· Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and designs for fire sprinkler systems.

· Ensure that all designs are compliant with local, state, and national codes and regulations, including NFPA and other applicable standards.

· Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or installation issues that arise during the course of a project.

· Provide support to construction and installation teams by answering technical questions and providing guidance on the installation of fire sprinkler systems.

· Participate in meetings with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to review project requirements and design options.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design and detailing, including experience with CAD software.

· Knowledge of local, state, and national fire codes and regulations, including NFPA and other applicable standards.

· Experience with commercial, residential, and high-rise work

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
