Job Overview:

As a Fire Sprinkler Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for fire sprinkler systems. You will work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine the scope of the project, identify any special requirements or challenges, and provide detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and industry standards. You will use your technical expertise and knowledge of fire codes and regulations to create comprehensive and accurate cost estimates that meet the needs of the project and the client.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant information to determine the scope and requirements for fire sprinkler systems.

· Use estimating software and tools to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for fire sprinkler systems, including materials, labor, and subcontractors.

· Ensure that all cost estimates are compliant with local, state, and national codes and regulations, including NFPA and other applicable standards.

· Work with project managers and engineers to identify any special requirements or challenges that may impact the cost of the project.

· Participate in meetings with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to review project requirements and design options.

· Provide support to construction and installation teams by answering technical questions and providing guidance on the installation of fire sprinkler systems.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related documentation, including cost estimates and related data.

Qualifications:

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

· 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler estimating, including experience with estimating software and tools.

· Knowledge of local, state, and national fire codes and regulations, including NFPA and other applicable standards.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
